I have been in contact with Amy Munro <amy at leukaemia.org.nz> from the
Leukaemia & Blood Foundation in New Zealand. Here is an email that she sent
me about services for MPD patients in NZ.

Hi Ken

Many thanks for your offer to tell your members about our Support Services.

The LBF provides support to patients living with a blood condition (both
malignant and non-malignant) as well as their family members and friends.
Our four Support Services Coordinators are experienced haematology nurses
who provide education, information and ongoing emotional support - through
phone and face to face contact.

We welcome any contact from individuals living with Myeloproliferative
Disorders in New Zealand, and as Pru mentioned, are in the very early
stages of creating a patient information booklet about MPDs.

Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and between us cover the whole
country.
